January 1st is a new year holiday in Korea.

However, on December 31st, we all get together to count the new year or watch the new sunrise.

This year 2024 we have days off from Feb. 9th to Feb. 12th, the Lunar New Year.

There is no holiday in April, but there is a 22nd National Assembly election in Korea on April 10 this year.

April 5th was a tree planting day, which was originally a holiday, but now we don’t rest.

May is Korea’s Family Month, and there are many family-related events.
So it is the month with many gift-related events after Lunar New Year in February and Chuseok in September.
First of all, May 5th is Children’s Day.
